Alice D. McDavid was born to Dr. Don and Sara Deal in Springfield, Illinois in 1914. She attended Gulf Port College in Mississippi 1932-1933, and graduated from University of Illinois in 1936, where she belonged to Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.Giving was Alice’s spiritual gift and she loved to serve as a volunteer in various organizations.
